Janet double majored in Computer Science and Business Administration at Iowa State University.  She worked for over 20 years as a software engineer in real-time, data communication software development. Although this work is technically challenging and fun, it lacks artistic creativity. She began Internet software development in 1996 as an artistic outlet.

As digital photography improved and Photoshop became the darkroom, Janet's love of photography rekindled. Janet strives to create beautiful memories and to capture the emotion of every event she photographs.
